Is the beach within walking distance?
Yes! 1.5 blocks, to be exact.  Paradise Shores is located on the northwest side of A1A and SE 6th St. in Pompano Beach, FL.  A1A is a 2 lane road that runs north and south along the barrier island.  Use the A1A crosswalk and walk 1 block east to access the beach directly across the street.  Check out our video of the beach walk at the bottom of our home page.

Is beach gear provided?
Yes.  Each apartment has its own beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas and beach cooler.

Is there a pool onsite?
No.  We consider the ocean our pool.  There is a beautiful Olympic size public swimming pool at the Pompano Beach Aquatic Center 1 mile west of the property.

Will you accept shorter stays than the stated minimum nights?
We will accept shorter stays typically when your stay is just a couple weeks out. Please send us a message with your request.

What times are check-in and check-out? 
Check-in is 4 pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is 11 am on the day of departure.

Can I check-in early or check-out late? 
Early check-in or late check-out may be a possibility if we do not have other guests checking in or out on the same day. Please send us a message with your request and we'll review the reservation calendar before responding.

What essentials are provided?
Each Paradise Shores apartment is a self-catering property. We provide our guests with linens and bath towels and a small quantity of essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, hand soap, dishwasher soap, sponge, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, cleaning supplies and laundry soap. Once depleted, guests are responsible for supplementing these with their own supplies. Stores such as Whole Foods, Publix & Walgreens are within 0.5 to 2 miles away.

What are your current cleaning procedures and standards?
Our professional cleaners are following current guidelines to ensure all common surfaces are cleaned and disinfected and use appropriate disinfectants to decrease the likelihood of most respiratory droplet disease transmission.  There is no daily housekeeping services included in your rate.  However, we would be happy to organize cleaning services during your stay for an additional fee.

Do you allow smoking in your vacation homes?
We do not allow smoking anywhere on property (inside any of our apartments, on exterior walkways in between apartments or exterior patios and other shared common areas). If you smoke in the parking lot or on the sidewalk, please make sure to dispose of your cigarette butts properly in the trash.

May we bring a pet to your vacation home?
Pre-approved, well mannered dogs are occasionally allowed. Please message us with info about your dog so we can approve them. There is a fine for any unapproved pets.

What is your cancellation policy?
Guest receives 100% if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% if cancellation occurs more than 7 days before arrival; No refunds within 7 days of arrival.

What if there is a natural weather disaster or pandemic or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects our stay?
Although we do everything possible to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we cannot control or be responsible for any other unforeseen circumstance that may affect your trip. As a result, there are no refunds for natural disasters or other major events that are out of our control. We highly encourage you to purchase trip insurance to cover your stay.
